MALIBU—A woman was struck and killed by a vehicle in the early morning of Saturday, May 20 on Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) in Malibu.

The victim, identified as 83-year-old Kokab Sheikholialaavasani, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Pacific Attorney Group. The crash was reported at 6:38 a.m. on PCH, near Las Flores Canyon Road, according to officials. Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene at 6:44 a.m.

PCH was closed to eastbound traffic at Carbon Canyon Road for hours. The details surrounding the cause of the crash was not reported. No arrests or citations have been made.

All lanes on PCH re-opened at 1:10 p.m. Saturday.
