LOS ANGELES—Wide Receiver Tutu Atwell is returning back to Los Angeles after being traded from the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins received running back Marquez Hunter from the Rams. Atwell was a 2021 second round draft pick and played five seasons for the Rams under Head Coach Sean McVay.
The Dolphins are bringing in two rookie receivers Caleb Douglas and Chris Bell who will have a big role in the offense. Tutu had his worst statistical year of his career in Miami.
The receiver had 105 catches for 1,535 in a 64-game span while he was with the Rams.
He goes back to a team he is familiar with including Quarterback Matthew Stafford. He’s played with receiver Puka Nacua and will play with all-time great Davante Adams.
He comes in to add depth to the talented receiver room as Puka Nacua awaits a potential suspension.
