HOLLYWOOD—Whew the end game is upon us on “Big Brother 28,” where we have gone from 7 to our final 3 by the end of this week. Why? It was double eviction baby, and it was an event to say the least. The best double eviction of all-time? No, and I do plan to do a ranking of the best in BB history soon, BB13 comes to the top of my list at this point because it saw not one, but two power players go out, and the game dynamics shifted in a way that was not expected.

When we last spoke it was Barrett and Melody in danger and with the final BB Blockbuster upon us, the question is who would win. Many placed their money on Barrett, but no, Melody became comp beast getting her first victory of the season, winning a very tough competition to secure her safety. Barrett was evicted by a 3-1 vote. Then we had the double eviction booth competition that was close. It was looking like a battle between Melody and Devens, then it was Taylor and Melody, then Drew got involved, but in the end, Melody won her first HOH during a crucial time, and the comp beast was awoken.

She made an epic move and nominated Dee and Devens hoping to finally take out a “Survivor” icon. OMG was it about to happen? Well, we have the POV, which just happens to be a puzzle again. This is like the third puzzle competition in the third week. Where the clown shoe, or the maze competition, or something more physical or strategic as we normally have. Not to mention where the hell was the crap shoot competition this season? We usually have 1 or 2 and we didn’t have any this season to be honest.

Devens wins a clutch POV and Melody has to make a renom. Would she do Yash, Drew or Taylor? Taylor was working to try to get Melody to put up Drew to ensure one of the icons goes out so Drew doesn’t align with Daddy Devens. I knew Melody was not going to nominate Drew, so Yash or Taylor were the only options. Melody landed on Yash to get out a big threat, and against Dee, Drew should have voted him out, but nope, Drew stayed loyal to the icons again, which may have the jury question when Barrett and Yash come in, why Drew has very little win equity because many might not ever see him playing his own game.

The final 5 unleashed a ‘Pharoah’s Curse’ that was a nothingburger. Devens simply won $10k for pushing a damn button with no consequence. We had a speed up week, which we always should have and Devens won the tiny HOH competition and nominated Drew and Melody hoping to break them up. Drew, about being loyal to the icons. They have all nominated you. Shouldn’t that tell you everything you need to know? You’re loyal to them, but they have NEVER been loyal to you when you need them to be to you.

Drew begged for his life with Devens, but it did nothing. I truly think if Drew didn’t win this POV he was out of the house. Why? Dee made it clear she wanted Melody in her endgame and final 2 battle. Dee you should have fought a lot harder because the votes were literally there with you and Drew. The POV competition was deemed for a male to win considering a physical component Dee, Taylor and Melody had no chance of winning against Drew or Devens.

Too afraid to piss off Devens, Dee voted out Melody against her best interest. This resulted in a final 4 of Dee, Taylor, Drew and Devens. Dee has done great work pulling Drew slowly away from Devens with ‘baby boy’ realizing he cannot defeat Devens if he takes him to the final 2, where Dee might have Drew actually take her over Taylor if he has the opportunity to do so. Melody gave Drew some crucial info that many members of the jury will consider voting for Taylor if she makes it to the end of the game.

That is important because we have a final 4 HOH, and guess who rose to power, Taylor Brown! The one person Dee, Devens and Drew didn’t expect to win was victorious and has punched her ticket to the final 3 and finale night. So, a Crossover is going home and the question is who? It really all comes down to the POV, which will have the sole vote to evict and it’s a day’s competition and the 2 favorites here are Taylor and Devens who have studied way more than Dee and Drew. Let me just say, Dee has not been great at any of these competitions this season. Her first HOH was a fluke because she competed against only 2 other people and her second HOH was thrown to her because Barrett, Mallory and Melody could have all won that.

Dee is NOT good at puzzles, and her memory especially when it comes to days is horrid, so this is truly between 3 people and Drew I’m not too convinced on either, so it depends on rather the Final 4 POV is extra physical or limited to physicality which determines who wins. Well, we have a POV winner, and it was the one person I didn’t expect, Drew! Drew has won 3 of the last four POV competitions, at the final 7, final 5 and final 4. His comp wins are impressive 3 POVs, 1 HOH, 2 BB Blockbusters.

A “Survivor” player is going home at the final 4 and the jury roundtable will be interesting to say the least. Drew has to decide between ‘Daddy Devens’ or Dee. Melody told him, Barrett told him, Dee and Taylor have told him, Devens is the biggest threat to win. Take out Devens and to be honest, I think Drew wins the game. If he doesn’t the jury is not going to be fond of him and I think it’s a game losing move. Drew was in tears after his win because its apparent he knows what he needs to do, but I’m not sure if he has the courage to do it.

He likes Dee, but he wouldn’t be so much in his emotions if he knew he was voting out Dee. Dee is not a better competitor than Devens, so Drew taking out Devens improves his chances of winning a final 3 HOH and making the choice of who he picks. If Drew cuts, Devens and Dee, as much as I might despise him as a player, but those are the right moves.

Now, if he cuts Dee, and Taylor makes the move if she wins final HOH to knock out Devens, that is a game-winning move for her if you ask me. Drew has time to think, and I think whichever “Survivor” convinces him of the winning strategy for the game will survive. Blood is about to be spilled.
