SANTA MONICA—On July 2, a man was injured in a shooting that occurred on the Santa Monica (I-10) Freeway West Adams area at around 6:30 a.m., according to police.
The motorist was reported shot in the upper body area, and was transported to a hospital to be treated for injuries not considered critical.
It is believed that a red Chevrolet Tahoe had been involved in the incident; however, no suspects have been arrested. The California Highway Patrol stated that authorities arrived at the scene to investigate. No further information is available as of press time.
