MALIBU—Actor Wayne Brady was involved in a car accident on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu on Sunday, November 19, after he was hit by another vehicle, as first reported by TMZ.

After the incident, Brady and the other driver exchanged details, where an argument led to an altercation. The actor called 911 after the incident, but the other driver had already fled the scene. The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Malibu/Lost Hills Station located the individual who was arrested for battery, DUI and hit-and-run. The name of the driver has not been disclosed to the public, but according to reports individual is 51 years-old.

The actor did not require hospitalization after the incident.

Brady is known for his acting talents having appeared on the sketch comedy series “Whose Line is it Anyway?” He also hosted his own talk show, “The Wayne Brady Show” for several seasons. He has won five Emmy Awards, appeared on Broadway during the revival of the musical “Chicago” in 2004. He earned a Grammy nomination in 2008 for Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance for his version on Sam Cooke’s “A Change is Gonna Come.”

He currently serves as the host of the game show “Let’s Make a Deal.” He recently appeared as a contestant on season 31 of the reality competition “Dancing With the Stars” and recently appeared on the Showtime drama “American Gigolo” alongside Jon Bernthal.
