BEVERLY HILLS—On Thursday, September 24, the Beverly Hills Police Department announced the arrest of a stalking and vandalism suspect. The BHPD reported on September 21, multiple incidents of vandalism were discovered in Beverly Hills. During the investigation, detectives with the BHPD identified Alfred Poirier, 63, of Santa Clarita as a suspect. Poirier is a former employee of the Beverly Hills Fire Department.
He was arrested on suspicion of stalking, in violation of California Penal Code § 646.9, and vandalism, in violation of California Penal Code § 594. He was booked at the Beverly Hills Police Department and released on a $150,000 bond. Poirier is scheduled to appear on November 22, at the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles, Airport Courthouse – 11701 South La Cienega Blvd.
Detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding these incidents, but preliminary information indicates that Poirier posted computer-generated images at various city facilities on multiple occasions.
