HOLLYWOOD—Taylor Swift is back, actually she never left. Her comeback single,” Look What You Made Me Do,” is breaking several streaming records in the process. As you’ll no doubt be aware, the lyrics concern her long, tedious feud with Kanye West, which began when the rapper rushed on stage during Swift’s acceptance speech at the MTV Awards. The song comes hot on the heels of Katy Perry’s “Swish Swish,” allegedly about her own beef with Team Taylor and itself a riposte to Swift’s song “Bad Blood.”

Leave it up to Taylor to trademark a sentence. Swift has a habit of trying to trademark everything she sings. Back in 2014, she applied to trademark the phrases like “This sick beat” and “Nice to meet you, where have you been?” from her “1989” album. Then she tried to trademark the word “1989” itself, an effort which would surely should have been challenged by the inventor of the calendar if they’d still been alive. So it’s no surprise that she’s now trying to trademark sentences from her new singles. According to TMZ, she’s just filed an application to trademark “Look what you made me do”-the title of her recent single and “The old Taylor Swift can’t come to the phone right now.”

Isn’t it incredible when these pop stars feud? Look at Mariah Carey and Eminem. “Mariah, what ever happened to us, why did we have to break up?” rapped Eminem on his 2009 track “Bagpipes from Baghdad.” Mariah’s response? “You’re delusional, boy, you’re losing your mind.” The pair had allegedly dated for six months in 2001, with Eminem referencing their dalliance in several of his later songs.

Mariah always denied the relationship, telling Maxim she’d “hung out” with Eminem “a total of four times. And I don’t consider that dating somebody.” So when he continued to write about Mariah, she snapped. “Why are you so obsessed with me?” She sang in a barely disguised tirade.  “Lying that you’re sexing me, when everybody knows It’s clear that you’re upset with me.” Then came the sucker punch: “Finally found a girl that you couldn’t impress,” US Weekly’s Famous Feuds will be airing on Reelz on September 8. It will feature Mariah vs. Eminem; Katy vs. Taylor.

Besides the feuds, most stars are uniting to raise funds for victims of Hurricane Harvey. Celebrities including Beyonce, George Clooney, and Jamie Foxx will take part in a benefit concert to raise funds for victims of Hurricane Harvey next week. The one-hour telethon will be broadcast live on September 12. ‘Hand in Hand: A Benefit for Hurricane Harvey Relief’ will also be streamed live on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Hurricane Harvey brought horrific devastating floods and displaced thousands of people when it hit Texas on August 25. The state’s governor, Greg Abbott, has said the bill for reconstruction could be as high as $180 billion. Various celebrities announced their involvement in the fundraiser on Twitter.

Proceeds from the concert will go to various charities including the United Way of Greater Houston, Save the Children, and the Mayor’s Fund for Hurricane Harvey Relief. Viewers will be able to donate by phone, text message and online from the start of the program until one hour after it has finished. On Tuesday night’s episode of “The Tonight Show,” host Jimmy Fallon announced the show will be donating $1 million to the Hurricane Harvey relief fund set up by NFL Houston Texans star JJ Watts. The fund has raised over $20 million so far.
