SANTA MONICA—JetsuiteX began selling seats this week for charter flights to and from Santa Monica that will begin takeoff on February 6, 2017.

JetSuiteX is a public charter jet company that recently received a minority investment in October from JetBlue. The company has already offered this service from Burbank, but now passengers can board a charter flight from Santa Monica to specific locations limited to Las Vegas, San Jose, and Carlsbad in San Diego County.

The jet company will offer four weekly flights between Carlsbad and San Jose with a stopover in Santa Monica. Starting on February 10, 2017, JetSuiteX will connect Santa Monica Airport with McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas on Fridays and Sundays.

“We are excited to offer the people of Santa Monica an affordable service which they can use to get to San Jose, Las Vegas and Carlsbad,” said JetSuite CEO Alex Wilcox in a statement. “Our public charter service now provides the Los Angeles area with two departure points, Burbank and Santa Monica, making those Vegas and Bay Area trips so much easier.”

JetSuiteX flies out of private jet terminals and has operated nearly 5,000 flights in and out of Santa Monica Airport over the last seven years.
