WEST HOLLYWOOD—On Friday, September 27, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced that Hansel DeBartolo III, 37, of West Hollywood pleaded not guilty for allegedly sexually assaulting his dog.
DeBartolo aka as the ‘Sexy Vegan,’ was charged with one misdemeanor count each of posting obscene material and sexual assault on an animal.
He is scheduled back in court on October 10 in Department 1 of the Los Angeles County Superior Court, Santa Clarita Branch.
A video was posted on social media by Sexy Vegan on September 5, illustrating incongruous behavior with a pit bull, prosecutors indicated. He faces up to one year in county jail if he is convicted as charged.
In an email sent to Canyon News, the case is still under investigation by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
