LAUREL CANYON/BEVERLY HILLS—The Los Angeles Fire Department had to rescue a hiker in Beverly Crest on Saturday, June 13. The incident was reported at 12:04 p.m. at 2300 N. Lake Drive.

Firefighters responded to a report of 2 hikers that went off trail and are unable to make it back down to the road or back up to the trail.

LAFD ground crews extricated 2 hikers from their position off trail to a safe location. Both hikers were evaluated by LAFD paramedics. Nothing further details available to report on the incident.
