HOLLYWOOD—“Hung” just continues to peel back the layers of our favorite gigolo, Ray. This week we found a more subdued and thoughtful hunk who seemed like the weight of the world was on his shoulders. Thomas Jane is such a powerful and understated actor. He’s definitely the heart and soul of this show. He’s also another body part of the show, which I will not mention.
Ray gave Lenore an ultimatum. Viewers know Lenore does not take advice very well. So in typical Lenore bulldog fashion, she then went on to advising and guiding Ray’s ex-wife Jessica about how to deal with her husband Ronnie, who now wants to start a family with his wife. Jessica is less than thrilled. After all, she has two teenagers and thought that part of her life was over after she divorced Ray.
Ray also talked to pimp Tanya about possibly cutting ties with Lenore, who is working with Tanya to get Ray more paid clients. He was also concerned with his son Damon’s behavior, which caused Damon to defile the school baseball diamond. Ray’s friend Mike was in a hotel lobby when he was on his way to meeting a new client in a room upstairs. Ray’s questionable lifestyle is about to become common knowledge at this rate. Mike is very inquisitive and doesn’t mind asking Ray the tough questions. The episode was written by Brett C. Leonard and directed by Uta Briesewitz.
