BEVERLY HILLS—Four-time NBA MVP and three-time NBA champion LeBron James has purchased his new 9,000 square foot Beverly Hills home for $39 million on July 3.

The mansion at 9955 Beverly Grove Dr. was previously owned by “The Bold and The Beautiful” and “The Young and The Restless” soap creator Lee Phillip Bell.

The Mediterranean style property sits on 2.5-acre plot and has seven fireplaces, a pool house with two baths, lighted tennis court, and screening room.

According to the listing on Zillow.com, a home to multiple, famed Hollywood royalty, a large motor court and courtyard welcomes views from downtown Los Angeles to the ocean and the Santa Monica mountains.

The house has four bedrooms and eight bathrooms. The 9,146 square foot home was originally built in 1934. The property also includes two separate, detached guest houses.

This will be James’s third home; his other two homes are located in Brentwood. One was purchased for $23 million and another for $21 million. The listing for the property is with Jeff Hyland and Rick Hilton of Hilton & Hyland.

James currently plays as a small forward and power forward for the Los Angeles Lakers. He was born December 30, 1984 in Akron Ohio. He got his start in sports at an early age having played organized basketball starting in the fifth grade. James attended St. Vincent–St. Mary High School, where he continued to play basketball, as well as football. After graduating from high school, James was selected by The Cleveland Cavaliers as the first NBA Draft pick for 2003.

He spent seven years with the Cavaliers, before becoming an unrestricted free agent on July 1, 2010. On July 8, 2010 James announced he would be signing with the Miami Heat. He spent four years with the Miami Heat and returned back to the Cavaliers on July 10, 2014. After spending another four years with the Cavaliers, on July 9, 2018 he signed to the Los Angeles Lakers.
