BEVERLY HILLS—The Beverly Hills restaurant, Villa Blanca, owned by reality TV star Lisa Vanderpump is officially closing. The restaurant was seen recently boarded up with a note taped on the front door indicating that it is permanently closed.

Villa Blanca, shown in the popular TV series “Vanderpump Rules” and “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” has gone through financial problems over the years after Vanderpump lost a sexual harassment case back in 2014. Martha Diaz, a former pastry chef who worked at Villa Blanca, said that she had been sexually harassed by a manager and sued Vanderpump and her husband Ken Todd. After appearing in court, the jury decided that the couple was to pay Diaz $100,000 in punitive damages. The restaurant was left in the midst of bankruptcy.

In 2019, Vanderpump made the decision to end her time on the Bravo reality series, “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” According to Tamara Tattles, neighbors of the couple said that Vanderpump was struggling to pay rent after she left the show, her husband Todd was in a serious amount of debt.
