BEVERLY HILLS—According to Eater LA, Madeo Ristorante, formerly located on Beverly Boulevard, will re-open its doors on Tuesday, June 26. The restaurant closed its doors in March 2018.
Madeo Ristorante is popular among celebrities including Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez, Kim Kardashian-West, Drake, and others. It’s not uncommon for this celebrity hotspot to be crowded with paparazzi at the door. Madeo offers old-school Italian dishes like spaghetti Bolognese with veal sauce and tagliatelle al Tartufo Nero, and has a 4-star rating on Yelp.
The decision to close shop was to renovate the old location, which had been home to their restaurant for 30 years. The owner Gianni Vietina made the decision to re-open temporarily at 362 N. Camden Drive in Beverly Hills until the renovation at the original establishment was complete. The temporary location once housed Doma, another Italian restaurant that closed. According to the Eater LA, Gianni plans to re-open their previous location in 2019 with the same menu items as before.
Those dining at the temporary location should expect similar décor. The restaurant is expected to operate Tuesday thru Saturday 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
