BEVERLY HILLS—A 50 year-old male was rescued from a cliff near Mulholland Drive after his vehicle overturned down a steep hillside on Sunday, September 15.

At approximately 9:25 p.m., a Los Angeles Fire Department helicopter discovered an unknown individual outside of a car after it fell down a hillside, adjacent to Mulholland Drive. The vehicle landed and rested against a tree. Officials from the LAFD lowered a rescuer to assist the victim, while grounds crew attempted to reach him from the road below.

At 10:05 p.m. the LAFD updated the public with information that the individual suffered chest trauma after his vehicle overturned. He was taken aboard the LAFD helicopter and transported to a nearby trauma center to be treated for injuries sustained.
