HOLLYWOOD—Meadow Walker, the daughter of late actor Paul Walker, posted an Instagram picture on Father’s Day to honor her late dad. The picture got over 150k likes and more than 6,000 comments, gaining lots of viral attention. In the photo, Walker is lying on the floor, with baby Meadow on top of him as he kisses her cheek.

Paul Walker, 40, was killed in a car crash on November 30, 2013. Walker was riding passenger in a friend’s Porshe in Santa Clarita, when the car swerved out of control and burst into flames. He was filming the seventh installment in the “Fast and Furious” franchise when he died, and his brothers, Cody Walker and Caleb Walker served as stand-ins in several scene for the movie. His co-star, Vin Diesel, named his third daughter Pauline, in honor of his late friend.

Walker and his daughter had a very close relationship. “I’m glad I had her at 25,” he told US Weekly just a few weeks before he died, “because at 40 and 15, we’re matching up sweet. It’s just working. It’s perfect.” Since his passing, Meadow has used her Instagram account, which has over 600k followers, to post several pictures in honor of her late father.

In what would have been his 41st birthday on September 12, 2014, Meadow posted a picture of a young Walker holding her as they looked at each other and captioned it, “Happy Birthday, I love you.” In November, on the anniversary of his death, Meadow posted another picture of the two of them, and captioned it “I love you.”

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight last year, Walker’s father, Paul Walker III, said that his son’s presence was still felt everyday. “They say the first year is the worst, but I miss him more now,” he told ET. “It’s not getting any better for me.”
