MALIBU—For the second time in two years, actor and director Mel Gibson, 63, has put his Malibu home on the market.

Gibson listed the mansion at $14,495,000, an increase from the 2008 asking price of $11.5 million which he paid when he purchased the property. In 2017, Gibson listed the home at $17.5 million. The home sits on a five-and-a-half acre plot of land. The 6,578 square foot home holds five bedrooms and five bathrooms.

The home has rustic, old world designs that give way to views of the Pacific Ocean and surrounding mountains of Malibu. The home features an outdoor barbecue, dining area, guest house, gym, pool house, and two pools. In addition to the outdoor features, residents can access a private beach and tennis club.

The property is being listed by Sandro Dazzan of The Agency and Braden Williams at Hilton & Hyland. Gibson is known for his character as Martin Riggs in the “Lethal Weapon” franchise. He is starred in the film “Mad Max,” “Braveheart,” and directed the films “The Passion of the Christ,” “Apocalypto” and “Hacksaw Ridge.”
