HOLLYWOOD—New photos of actor Ben Affleck in the role of Batman in the upcoming “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice†have been released.
The offer to play Batman came as a surprise to Affleck. While guest starring for “The Tonight Show†starring Jimmy Fallon, he admitted how hesitant he has been accepting the role as Batman.
Affleck has been strength training and spending more time in the gym preparing to get fit for the character. New photos of the actor in the role have been released via social media on teases Twitter.
“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice,†will arrive in theaters on May 6, 2016. The comic book superhero known as Batman, has been iconic since 1939 and recently celebrated its 75th anniversary.
