HOLLYWOODLos Angeles Police Department Hollywood detectives are investigating a stabbing incident that occurred on Sunday, November 16.

At around 1:30 a.m., officers were dispatched to the scene at the intersection of Wilcox Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard.

The victim, an African-American male, was found at the scene suffering from stab wounds that punctured his lung. He was immediately transported to a local hospital where he was listed in stable condition.

Authorities have not yet released details on the suspect who still remains at large.

Last August, LAPD responded to a similar stabbing incident that occurred at the 6500 block of Hollywood Boulevard, near Wilcox Avenue, at around 1:50 a.m. The suspect in that incident was described as a white male in his mid-to-late 30s,  around 5 feet 8 inches and weighing at around 175 pounds. He was wearing a black hat, black leather jacket, black boots and dark pants

Detective Kevin Becker, who is supervising the investigation was not immediately available to comment on any updates to the case at press time.
