UNITED STATES—The Secret Service has named, President Donald Trump and Donald Trump Jr. as the two people in the U.S. with the highest amount of death threats. Trump Jr. cited such numbers in his book, “Triggered,” which was released on November 5.

“Anyone who gets close to my father is a target,” Trump Jr. says in his book.

“To my siblings; Eric, Ivanka, Tiffany, and Barron; only you can understand the craziness we have experienced in the last three years,” said Trump Jr. “We learned who our true friends are, and the viciousness of fake news. Nothing could have prepared us for the lies. We are Trumps. We don’t play the victim card and we will succeed. We are in this together.”

Trump Jr. admitted that he “became a hated man during the 2016 campaign when he was on the campaign trail with his dad, giving speeches.”

According to Secret Service, “After the election, I became the guy who receives the second-highest number of death threats in the country, second only to my father,” said Trump Jr.

Authorities arrested 26-year old, Richard Deville Jr.  The Indiana man reportedly posted a video of himself waving around firearms while shouting at President Trump in 2017 saying, “Your daughter, your wife and you are dead,  b**** I’m serious.  You are dead.”

On October 18, the Department of Justice reported that Chase Bliss Colasurdo of Kent, Washington was sentenced to 5 years in prison. The defendant who suffered from mental illness threatened media figures, the Jewish community, and members of the Trump family.

Threatening the President of the United States is considered a felony under the United States Code Title 18 section 871. The offense is punishable by up to 5 years in prison and a $250,000 maximum fine, including a $100 special assessment along with three years of supervised release.
