WEST HOLLYWOOD—A total of seven people were injured after a collision involving two cars on Sunday, May 21 in West Hollywood. The collision transpired between a minivan and a Honda Sedan shortly after 6 p.m. The collision caused the minivan to jump the curb, and collide with a light pole before striking 4 pedestrians at the crosswalk near La Cienega and Sunset Boulevards.

According to reports, the four pedestrians suffered minor injuries, and were transferred to a local hospital for treatment. The elderly couple inside the vehicle were taken to hospital for minor injuries sustained.

A total of seven people were sent to the hospital, according to Los Angeles fire officials. The cause of the collision is still under investigation by officials. Authorities do not suspect alcohol to be a factor in the crash.
