HOLLYWOOD—This took me aback a bit because I mean after nearly 3 months of waiting for a big reveal, this is what the writers at “General Hospital” drop on us? Drew shooter is Curtis and Selena Wu? I’m sorry, but its a lackluster reveal for me. Yes, it brings another layer to Curtis’s character, but I’m wondering if the series is boxing him into a corner. He has already been carted off to the Port Charles Police Department and being questioned by Detective Nathan West.

Jordan is by Curtis’ side, but that flashback said it all to the audience. Curtis hired Selena Wu to take out Drew, but the job was not completed. I’m sorry I feel like there has to be another twist here because I don’t see Selena Wu or a hired goon of hers not being able to finish the job. Something feels like Selena may have double-crossed Curtis and utilized someone else to complete the job to keep her hands clean.

I am eager to see how this plays out because Trina is spiraling, so is Aunt Stella and then you have the Jordan and Portia of it all. Curtis is only going to spiral even more once he discovers that he might not be the father of Portia’s bundle of joy. Yeah, we might see the darkest side of Curtis that viewers have seen of the character in 10 years. Let’s go back to Drew Quartermaine because he’s on a high that Willow accepted his proposal and they are NOW husband and wife.

Hate to say it, I was one of those people who thought Willow was falling back into Drew’s tangled web, but that is not the case. She is playing him, and Nina knows. Willow is simply doing whatever she needs to do to get custody back of her kids, Amelia and Wiley. My biggest concern is how will Drew react to discovering that he’s been hoodwinked. I don’t think he will take that kindly.

This brings us to a twisted set of circumstances involving Professor Henry Dalton. He was shot dead by Jenz Sidwell and then the body was placed into Mayor Laura Collins trunk without her notice. Yeah, it was wicked, because Laura went into panic mode and did her best to sway Nathan from looking into her truck. She instead called Sonny Corinthos who came to her aid.

Jason handled getting rid of the body, but Laura is on edge and Martin suspects his sister might be entangled in something that is NOT good as it pertains to Sonny. Laura did reveal this information to Kevin Collins, yes welcome back to Jon Lindstrom who has made himself a home on the new CBS soap “Beyond the Gates” so I literally forget about that character being MIA on the canvas.

I’m livid that the viewers were so close to getting Britt to reveal the truth about the Five Poppies with Jason, but he got interrupted by Sonny of all people to handle that situation with Laura. I’m over the Gio and Emma of it all because there is nothing interesting transpiring there, which leads us to Michael and Jacinda hooking up.

With the reveal that Curtis was behind Drew’s shooting, what will Michael now do to try to stick to Willow NOW that she has married Drew? It could boil Michael’s blood more which has Sonny concerned. Same with Dante tried to prevent Rocco from bonding with his older brother. Like, Dante, seriously take a chill pill. I hate to say this, but “General Hospital” is feeling a bit stuffed with characters. Perhaps, perhaps this would be a good time for a serial killer to strike to knock off a few characters? Just saying, its a thought.
