SANTA MONICA—On June 16, the Santa Monica Police Department (SMPD) published the Daily Arrest records for June 15th. Several arrests were made during efforts two increase security. At least two of the arrested were fugitives from justice (WANTED).
At 1:50 a.m., an individual only identified as “John Doe,” was arrested on the following charges.

SELL/FURNISH ALCOHOL TO PERSON UNDER 21 YRS
This was a24-year-old, Hispanic male who worked in the occupation of sewing. No other information is listed. It is not clear if he remains detained, picked up by Immigration and Customs, or if he was released.
At 1:42 a.m., a Hispanic male identified as Christian Coronado Quinillo, 22, who works in construction. He was arrested, cited and released on the following charges.
381b: POSSESS NITROUS OXIDE W/ INTENT TO INHALE/INGEST 148(a)(1): RESIST/DELAY/OBSTRUCT PEACE OFFICER 13002(A): THROW FLAMING SUBSTANCE FROM VEHICLE 451(d): ARSON: MALICIOUSLY/ETC SET FIRE: PROPERTY
The first two arrests were made in the 1500 Block of Palisades Beach Road. The arson related arrest was made after multiple fires were set in the area the day prior. The vehicle the suspect was driving was identified by SMPD officers.
At 4:26 a.m. SMPD officers arrested a 36-year-old Hispanic male by the name of Mario Alexander Perez at 5th Street and Colorado Avenue on drug and alcohol charges including:

At 8:27 a.m. SMPD officers arrested Vladimir Belyshev, 46, a white male, who was a fugitive from Justice arrested on the following charges:

At 9:20 a.m. Bryant Villa, a 37-year-old black male was arrested in the 1500 block of Main Street for violating a protective order, possession and other charges including;
166(c)(1): VIOLATE PROTECTIVE ORDER / STAY AWAY ORDER 148(a)(1): RESIST/DELAY/OBSTRUCT PEACE OFFICER 11550(a): CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: UNDER THE INFLUENCE
At 3:12 p.m. Antonio Maurice Braggs, a 53-year-old, black male was arrested in the 1400 block of 3rd Street Promenade. Braggs was taken into custody on a substance abuse charge and is Wanted.

At 3:16 p.m., SMPD officers arrested Michael Joseph Ferarro, 41, a red-haired blue-eyed, white male in the 1600 block of 5th Street. He was arrested on possession and weapons charges as follows;
3.29.020: NO PERSON SHALL WEAR OR CARRY IN PLAIN VIEW ANY KNIFE, DAGGER OR SWORD IN OR UPON ANY PUBLIC AREA 11364(a): CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: POSSESS PARAPHERNALIA 11377(a): CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: POSSESSION.
At 3:23 p.m., Jatavio, Shakoby, Dulley, 58, was arrested on a possession charge in the 1600 block of 5th Street.

The above arrests are a small sampling of the progress SMPD is making after heightening their security in Santa Monica.
