BEL AIR—Multi-billionaire casino-mogul Steve Wynn recently sold his Bel-Air mansion for $17.45 million after he bought it six months ago for $16.25 million.
The property was built in 1991 and is near the prestigious Bel-Air Country Club. The mansion has five bedrooms and eight bathrooms. The spacious interior on the main floor includes formal living and dining rooms, a wood-paneled library, a chef’s kitchen and a family room with a fireplace and a bar.
The upstairs guest and master suites have a long view of the golf course and the UCLA campus, and on the lowest level, in addition to a movie theater and gym, there is an additional guest suite. On the main floor there is a bedroom and bathroom in a separate service wing. An attached three-car garage sits on a .9-acre (11,027-square-foot) land along with a landscaped waterfall and pond, a putting green, and a huge motor court.
Wynn has his home in San Valley, Idaho, as well as a number of villas at Wynn Las Vegas, and an 11,000-square-foot penthouse in New York overlooking Central Park. According to Variety, he had been looking at a number of Los Angeles residences (including one mansion priced at $65 million) when he originally bought the home six months ago. No sources can say why he decided to sell it so soon.
