HOLLYWOOD—Former rap mogul Marion “Suge” Knight collapsed in a downtown Los Angeles courtroom on March 20 after a judge set his bail at $25 million. He returned to custody on Monday, March 23.

He received medical treatment at a jail hospital. Knight appeared to be tensed up and twitching in the left shoulder during the time of the hearing.

He is suspected of a hit-and-run where the rap star purposely ran over Terry Carter, 55, and Cle “Bone” Sloan, 51, in a restaurant parking lot in Compton on January 29 after an altercation occurred on the set of a commercial about the film “Straight Outta Compton.” Sloan was injured during the incident, while Carter died from injuries he sustained.

Knight is charged with murder, attempted murder and two counts of hit-and-run.

Before the hit-and-run, Knight was on bail in an alleged robbery that occurred on September 5. Knight and Micah “Katt” Williams were charged with snatching a Beverly Hills photographer’s camera.
