HOLLYWOOD—It was the penultimate episode before the upcoming season finale of Tyler Perry’s seventh season of “The Oval.” It seems like everything is coming into play for something epic to explode much sooner than later. This week’s episode, ‘Agent Stan Bennett’ witnessed a police officer asking way too many questions that just became annoying as hell. Sam, Richard and Max were disgusted by the lack of urgency.

Back at the Vice President quarters, Eli was surprised to find Agent Cross who mentioned that threats against him and Simone are heightened because of his meeting with Senator Harding. Little does Eli realize that Cross is not to be trusted. Jason killed yet again, who, I’m not sure, but it was someone who visited Rachel’s apartment. Yeah, Jason is seriously screwed up mentally. Jason called Hunter and fed him a bunch of BS, and Jason made it clear he plans to take out Allan and Priscilla.

Hunter open your eyes, sending Jason to Cuba will only lead to more bloodshed; this is the one time where I want Victoria to get her hands on this little brat before anyone else. Eli was making ‘jokes’ about Cross being a terrible hitman, which Simone and Priscilla didn’t like. Then more chaos emerged, as Senator Harding’s hard drive was blank, but Priscilla got an email that may have sent to her far in advance telling her to go home? Not sure if that is good considering that Jason planted a bomb at the property.

Donald, Dilva and Priscilla brainstormed about tips to locate Jason. Kyle was correct: Jason wants Allan, Priscilla and him all dead for wronging him. Isaac and Cross were planning to tamper with Eli’s smoothie by placing the poison inside of it. Both guys were eerily afraid, but the poison was implemented.

A member of Hunter’s cabinet explained that he had details about something very important to discuss with Senator Harding, which Hunter wants to attend. Hmm, this could be very interesting to say the least. Cross was taken aback to find Eli already drinking a smoothie that Richard had already made. Oh, this is not good because the other agent was about to drink it and Cross had to take drastic action to destroy the evidence.

Lilly returned to the hospital with Bobby’s escape kit. Lilly and Priscilla trade tales about their run-ins with ‘Death.’ Priscilla informed Lilly that Senator Harding wants to meet with her to corroborate what has unfolded. Priscilla was pissed and dropped a few F-bombs in Lilly’s direction. Nancy was not pleased to see her nosy neighbor Jodie sticking her nose where it doesn’t belong once again. Jodie is indeed annoying and even am I. Nancy had enough and read the riot right to her nosy ass neighbor.

Kareem returned to his current living arrangement and found himself ambushed, as he failed to treat that gun wound. Yeah, Kareem not a good idea as he realized someone else had been inside. Jason was planning to return to Priscilla’s house, but agents were camped out. Victoria heard from Jason yet again where he warned that he had a surprise for her hit man (that bomb that he planted). Jason was stunned to learn that Kyle is alive and being released and he’s coming for him.

Victoria made a call to agent Isaac to let him know Jason took her bait pertaining to showing up at Kyle’s place unaware that agents will be waiting for him. Sharon and Max continued to be smitten with one another. I like these two if I’m being honest. Max alerted Sam that Agent Cross attacked Bobby, just as Sam arrived at the hospital to look after Bobby. Simone and Priscilla conversed about being abandoned by Lilly and Allan, just when Allan showed up to explain that he was attacked by Jason again last night, and it prompted him to put an end to it all.

Ugh, I’m worried Priscilla, Simone and Allan could all be in danger. Allan and Donald got into a tense screaming match. Yeah, I think Allan has officially had enough. Isaac learned from Cross that Eli already had a smoothie. Kareem awoke to the Mexican cartel surrounding him with guns. Looks like Kareem is placing a hit on Sharon’s life, in addition to Richard, Max and Nancy. Simone, Priscilla and agents showed up to her place, while Jason waited in distance.

The package by Priscilla with the hard drive of her story. Jason was patiently waiting to get ready to force that bomb to go off and activated it. Oh, I’m nervous people as it pertains to what will unfold with next week’s season finale. Until then “The Oval” fanatics!
