TEMPE, ARIZ—The UCLA Bruins football team will travel to Tempe on Saturday, October 8, to take on the Arizona State University Sun Devils.

UCLA goes into the match-up boasting a potent offence, and the team looks confident after last week’s 24-45 blowout of the Arizona Wildcats. UCLA head coach Jim Mora spoke on his team’s preparation heading into the game. “It was a good morning. A good practice, great energy, they were focused and into it, competitive as heck. Health wise, we’re getting better and better, I like the direction we’re going. Like I said on Monday, great opportunity and great challenge going to Arizona State and we’re excited about it and the improvements we’re making.”

UCLA has found success in Arizona against the Sun Devils, dominating in a record setting 62-27 thrashing in 2014, the last time they made the trek to Sun Devil Stadium. UCLA quarterback Josh Rossen looks to have a big night against the worst pass defense in the nation. This comes after a career night in which he threw for 350 yards and put up four touchdowns in his previous game against the Wildcats.

ASU starting quarterback Manny Wilkins will sit out after suffering an injury during a hard sack he suffered in the second quarter of last week’s 20-41 loss to USC. Freshman Brady White will start for Arizona State, making his debut as a collegiate starter after filling in for Wilkins against USC.
