WEST HOLLYWOOD—On Saturday, August 18 to Sunday August 19, the city of West Hollywood will host a citywide yard sale for residents. According to the city of West Hollywood website, residents will be invited to take part by hosting a sale, visiting with neighbors, and helping the environment by reducing waste.

“The Citywide Yard Sale is a great way for residents throughout the City to clean-out garages and storage spaces and pass along usable household items so they’re not thrown away and headed to a landfill,” said West Hollywood Councilmember Lauren Meister. “It will also be a fun way to make some extra cash, hang out with neighbors, and build community!”

The city will allow residents to hold their own sales free of charge and the citywide sale will not count towards West Hollywood’s city limit of two garage sale permits per year.

Residents interested in registering for the yard sale can complete a Yard Sale Registration form, which they can access by heading over to the West Hollywood City Hall at 8300 Santa Monica Boulevard. All interested participants must register by Friday, August 10.
