SANTA MONICA—The City of Santa Monica will be hosting its 4th annual Beach House Community Picnic on Thursday, July 28, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The fun-filled day is full of activities that are great for the whole family and a traditional way to enjoy a nice summer evening. The idea is to pack a dinner for a picnic style meal, grab all of your closest friends and family, and head to Santa Monica’s iconic Annenberg Community Beach House.

The Annenberg Community Beach House is located at 415 Pacific Coast Highway in Santa Monica. For any schedules and information on all the Beach House has to offer, you can visit annenbergbeachhouse.com or call (310) 458-4904.

Events for the family will include tug-o-war, friendly races in large potato sacks, a giant checkers board, as well as community engagement such as Yoga with a Cop – light stretching and some Q & A with SMPD Officer Milosevich, according to a press release from Santa Monica. Crafts, games and story time will be made available for the little ones, ages 2 to 5.

Dublab’s MC/DJ will be playing music throughout the entire event.

The picnic is a free event for the public, however, reservations are requested and can be made at https://2016communitypicnic.eventbrite.com. Parking for the event is $3.00 and glass, alcohol and cooking are prohibited during the festivities.
