BRENTWOOD/BEVERLY HILLS—Luxe Hotels and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) have teamed up to launch the Giving Back Program, which is intended to raise funds for critically ill and injured children.

Guests staying at the Luxe Rodeo Drive Hotel in Beverly Hills and the Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel in Brentwood will be encouraged to donate to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles upon checkout beginning December 1.

Founder and Chairman of Luxe Hotels, Efrem Harkham said in a statement that serving the community is a core value at Luxe Hotels and he was delighted to partner with CHLA.

“The amazing support and compassionate care that Children’s Hospital Los Angeles provides is second to none,” Harkham said.

Guests have the option of donating to CHLA discreetly via in-room cards in incremements of $10, $25 and $50, or opt to specify their amount. Each donation is 100 percent tax deductible. The fundraising goal is $25,000 over the next 14 months –beginning now and extending throughout 2017.

Vice President of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles Dawn Wilcox said in a statement that the hospital relies on the support of businesses, individuals and the community to continue to care for children. The ‘Giving Back Program’ allows people to participate in a meaningful way, by knowing that their stay will contribute to saving lives.

“We are thrilled to be a part of Luxe’s Giving Back program at their Sunset and Rodeo properties,” Wilcox said.
