HOLLYWOOD—Danny Musico is a modest guy, but he should not be. His accomplishments are vast and varied. Musico has been a professional boxer, actor, model, athlete spokesman and television personality. Whatever the challenge is, the handsome star will offer a knockout performance. He is readily used by Hollywood’s elite and many of the most famous names in the world as a personal trainer. Danny can get stars into shape and he does so by the passionate and experienced manner that his grandfather taught him by age 10. “My grandfather taught me, that you have to do something right and therefore be broken down, then taught the proper way to do something. Boxing, acting, exercising or whatever it is. Practice doesn’t make perfect if you are practicing and doing it the wrong way. Doing it right over and over makes it perfect,” said Musico.

Perhaps because I am of slight build that I have to admit to being slightly intimidated when meeting Danny for the first time. His manager Milton B. Suchin promised an honest, intellectual and articulate person, who has been the spokesman for many products. Musico is a man of great accomplishments, but despite his success, he remains very modest and humble about his life and career. “My parents were truly opposites. My dad was a tough blue collar man, while my mother was highly educated and soft; however, she was strong and tough when it came to her kids. We were all different and my parents not only encouraged that, but taught us to respect others,” said Danny.

The handsome star is best known from HBO’s “Entourage,” which he guest stars on from time to time. “I am currently training the creator of the series and all of the actors from the show. Everyone is great to work with both on and off camera and they were open to my suggestions and advice when it came to exercise and training. It’s always best if someone trusts me and allows me to show them how to make themselves healthier, stronger and ultimately in the best shape they can be. Many times actors and actresses do come to me to prepare for a role, but sometimes they just realize the value in this industry of being in great shape.”

In addition to acting, Musico is also a former professional boxer. His explanation for why he often boxed in the ring with 20-year-old men, when he was only 10 was not only scary, but extremely fascinating and enlightening. “My grandfather taught me early on, that I would not become a great boxer by being a 10-year-old kid beating up an 8-year-old. If I could fight someone my size and weight, who just happened to be twice my age, I’d learn so much better,” said the former boxer. “He told me every time I’d get a butt kicking, that I’d finally learn to be able to do the butt whipping.” He managed to do so, with great honor in the ring, and remains one of the most respected boxers in the industry. Musico also understands his luck and the fact that he was raised by such great parents. “A lot of boxers come up out of the streets and don’t have any role models. My dad was the hardest working man I knew, but he had a big heart and wanted us to do what we dreamed. My mother was also tough, but the most loving mother any kid could have,” said Danny.

Musico has trained Navy Seals, Corrections Officers, Police Academy cadets, New Jersey State Troopers and many other professionals. He’s also guest starred on shows such as “Hell’s Kitchen,” “Law and Order,” “Joan of Arcadia” and “Third Watch.” His modeling career has also flourished. Musico has walked the runways with handsome guys such as Michael Bergin, and his unique background makes him an unstoppable force in Hollywood. Perhaps it’s a little bit of luck, but it is most assuredly his strong determination and tireless hard work that has made him one of Hollywood’s most bankable actors, trainers and spokesmen.
