MALIBU—Residents of Malibu have been experiencing issues with their communications provider since Frontier Communications took over telephone, TV, and phone service from Verizon.

As of April 1, Verizon services in California, Texas and Florida moved to the Frontier network. Residents who were using Verizon Internet, TV or Voice service, including FiOS, is now provided by Frontier Communications.

The city of Malibu has stepped in to work closely with Frontier Communications to assist residents to fix the issue at hand. According to the city of Malibu website, the Vice President of Frontier has assured the City Manager that Frontier is making Malibu’s service issues a high priority.

Frontier has also provided the following customer service outlets for all of its Malibu customers:
