MALIBU—A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle on the Pacific Coast Highway near Las Flores Canyon Road on Sunday, November 9.

The accident was reported at around 6:20 p.m. The small sedan struck the 70-year-old man as he was crossing the highway.

The male driver of the vehicle was not arrested. According to reports, the driver is cooperating with law enforcement. The victim died after being airlifted to UCLA Medical Center.

The eastbound and westbound lanes of the area were closed for several hours after the accident. Authorities are still investigating the incident.
