BEVERLY HILLS —My name is Levi, and I’m a 2-year-old Shepherd/Collie mix. As, I’m sure you know, Shepherds and Collies are very smart breeds, so they are very fast learners. This is all leading up to the fact that I want to be right up front with you about something, and then get on with other things. I’ve been mainly an outdoor dog, so, consequently, I’ve never been house trained. But, I’m very smart, and I promise to learn fast, as I definitely want to be an indoor dog and part of a family.
Now that that’s out of the way, let me tell you some very positive things about me. Speaking of wanting to be part of a family, I lived with six children, and there was never a problem, so that tells you something about my disposition. I also get along with other dogs, and seeing that I’m so easy going, I’m sure that cats would be no problem.
I won’t growl if anyone comes near my food, or toys, or any of my possessions. The only thing that I’ll guard is your home, as the only time that I will bark is if a stranger comes near your property. But, I figure that’s a good thing, don’t you?
I love to swim. And, would you believe that I also like to skateboard and play soccer? Well, maybe I really don’t do either one, but I liked to join in when the children were playing. However, if you, or any members of your family, don’t do either one of those activities, that’s okay. If you like to jog or run, I’d make a good companion for you. Or, if you don’t do that, either, just take me for nice walks and I’ll be a very happy boy. See, I’m very adaptable.
If you’re wondering why I was given up, seeing that I seem to be so perfect, it’s because my family relocated and they weren’t able to take me with them. So, I hope that it won’t be too long before I’m part of a family again, and forever this time. Won’t you please call to see me?
