WEST HOLLYWOOD—On Wednesday, December 25, the Laugh Factor hosted its 40th annual free holiday dinner celebration and toy drive giveaway at 8001 Sunset Blvd. in Los Angeles. The event was held from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., on a first come first serve basis.
Celebrity appearances included Tiffany Haddish and Tim Allen who were scheduled to perform and who served dinner to guests.
“Spending the holidays alone is no laughing matter,” said Laugh Factory owner Jamie Masada.
According to the Laugh Factory website, the event welcomed those who may be away from home, lonely, homeless, or simply in need of a warm meal, a hug or a laugh to show up. The club also encouraged everyone to spread the word.
“Let no one spend the holiday alone, ALL are WELCOME here at Laugh Factory.”
Last year 2,500 people attended the event. This years numbers have not yet been reported to the public.
