SANTA MONICA—On September 18, 2025, the Santa Monica public library announced that it would be holding a special event, which is intended to serve as an introduction to the Mexican Presence in Santa Monica Project, a community initiative documenting the history and the influence of the Mexican community in Santa Monica and their contributions to the creation of the city.

This special event will be held on Saturday, September 20. It will run from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Additionally, this event will take place in the Multipurpose Room of the Santa Monica Public Library’s main building.
