SANTA MONICA—On Wednesday, January 7, a shooting occurred on the Santa Monica (10) Freeway. According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 12:25 p.m. near the intersection of Hoover Street and Adams Boulevard, where a vehicle was stopped.
Firefighters arrived on the scene, and the California Highway Patrol and the Los Angeles Police Department also responded to a dark-colored SUV on the scene, with a windshield that resembled a bullet hole.
According to the California Highway Patrol, one person was taken to the hospital. No additional details about the incident have been disclosed to the public.
