PACIFIC PALISADES—On Wednesday, June 17, the Los Angeles Fire Department had to rescue a hiker. The incident was reported at 8:57 a.m. where LAFD Air Operations located a 38-year-old male on the ridgeline near Inspiration Point.
A hoist operation was used to rescue the injured hiker, and the patient was assessed by paramedics from the LAFD. The patient was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation. No additional details about the incident have been publicly disclosed.
