SANTA MONICA—The city of Santa Monica hosts its annual Pier 360 Beach Festival this weekend Saturday, June 27, through Sunday, June 28, at 200 Santa Monica Pier, Santa Monica, CA 90401.

The Pier 360 Beach Festival offers a variety of free activities for all ages over the span of two days. According to the Santa Monica Pier website, the event will feature live music, food and drinks, a Beer Garden, games, and sports competitions, for the festival’s entertainment.

In addition to the various events, Pier 360 is open for public athletic registrations on the Eventbrite website. Individuals wanting to compete for a chance to win in Beach Volleyball (must be a Team of 4), paddleboarding, swim races, skate, and or lifeguarding competitions, registration is still open, and prices vary depending on competition entry fees. As the Pier 360 festivities span the weekend, each day brings different competition schedules and main-stage line-ups for attendees to look forward to. For information on athletic competition categories and times, as well as the bands and entertainment taking the main stage, the Santa Monica Pier website and Instagram offer a detailed itinerary for attendees to plan out their day.

The Eventbrite website notes that the festival has a total 19.8k registered total attendees, and with that, the city of Santa Monica advises those who plan to drive to the festival to plan ahead, as there will be heavy traffic in the area. Santa Monica suggests that attendees take the Metro or RideShares, or, if you plan to drive, park at the Civic Center Parking Garage, located at 333 Civic Center Dr, Santa Monica, CA 90401.
