HOLLYWOOD—Characters continue to change personas on Tyler Perry’s “The Oval.” This week’s episode, ‘Worth the Work’ got the audience to see Kareem continue to spiral as he attempted to locate that money he lost. He flirted before making demands on the money that she stashed in Dale’s vehicle that was stolen.
Trent’s body was discovered, and Kyle came to Rachel’s aide as Jason watched from another room. Dilva and Donald learned of Trent’s demise and Dilva was none too pleased, as it became apparent Jason was responsible. Sam also revealed that Jason was responsible for kidnapping Priscilla and that he located his secret dungeon within the tunnels of The White House.
Hunter and Victoria learned from Isaac that plans are in play to take out Eli, but I wonder how Dilva will feel about the coup they are cooking up without her knowledge. Since I’ve recently discovered this is the final season of “The Oval” all bets are off in terms of who lives and who dies.
It was nice to see Priscilla and Nancy gossip a bit as Max was a watchdog for the ladies considering the threat over the government at the moment. However, I didn’t want to hear one bit again about their relationship woes. Richard warned Sam if Jason came anywhere near him or threatened his life, he’s taken him out with the swiftness. Well, it’s about time and someone needs to do it.
Dilva alerted Hunter and Victoria that Jason murdered Trent, and kidnapped Priscilla and stored her in his little dungeon. Dilva made it clear that things have spiraled out of control and not in the best way. Victoria and Hunter bickered about Jason, as Dilva made it clear too late for mental health. Jeez, a bunch of bozos whoa are top tier agent can’t locate a kid hiding in tunnels. I mean Sam you found Priscilla! Shouldn’t be so hard to locate Jason.
Looks like Jason was gearing up for war or a massacre, not sure which, but it cannot be good. Lilly and Bobby were concerned about Priscilla who had not contacted them by phone to alert her all is well with her. Priscilla answered Lilly’s call letting her know all is well, and that they are in serious danger. Lilly alerted her everyone signed contracts regarding Hunter, but Priscilla was not happy to hear they signed. That’s right Priscilla be the one to blow everything to pieces.
Oh, my God, this storyline with Kareem and Sharon is pointless. Tone met up with Kareem as both continued to threatened Sharon with guns. Guys she has no clue where the money is, so yes, ya’ll lives are in serious danger.
Sam and all agents were tasked with hunting Jason down and bringing him in at all costs, no matter what. Seems like Jason might have a death sentence. Donald thinking he’s tough, but Dilva made it clear don’t play games with her, as she crafted a perfect narrative: Jason committed suicide, too many pressures of being The First Son. Hate to say, its genius, but damn wicked.
Priscilla and Max found themselves under attack, as it seems someone sent a warning there way. Yeah, we know things are all tied to not spilling about Jason and what he did. The note made it clear Priscilla had to play ball or she’s a dead woman walking. The final moments of the episode witness those goons discover that wad of cash, but Tone discovered the money, but he didn’t realize another assailant was ready to strike. Both of them got shot, so the bigger question at large is what happens to that money.
