STUDIO CITY— Blank Street has expanded their cafe to the west coast, with a new location in Studio City on Ventura Boulevard. The cafe has more than 100 locations across the world including the United Kingdom, London, Boston and more. Blank Street launched its first location in August 2020.
“When we started Blank Street, we set out to reimagine what a coffee shop could be. Serving a clean, natural, and high quality menu to our customers at affordable prices.
In August 2020, we launched our first location, a 5×10 coffee cart nestled in the garden of the Wythe diner in Brooklyn. Our operation was simple and our footprint was small, which let us remove costs that didn’t benefit our customers or baristas. This allowed us to source top of the range specialty coffees from around the world, serve clean and fresh food sourced locally, and pay our baristas above market wages,” the company states on its website.
Blank Street is also slated to open a location in Beverly Hills later this year. High-profile celebrities have worked with the cafe on special menu items and marketing for each other’s business like Sabrina Carpenter, Kendall Jenner, and Emma Chamberlain.
The menu gives variety for coffee drinkers including Matcha, and certain summer favorites like Coconut Cream Matcha, Coconut Cream Latte, Miami Vice Matcha and Watermelon Yuzu Matcha.
The Studio City Cafe will be the first location of the company to start selling ice cream. This will include flavors white chocolate matcha, strawberry shortcake match and more.
