LOS ANGELES— Another injury has emerged for the Rams in only week 2 of the NFL season.
The NFL has listed star wide receiver Puka Nacua as questionable for Monday’s game vs the Giants. The reciever has missed practice on Friday and Saturday.
Nacua is dealing with a hip injury that was separate from a different injury during training camp.
It’s been a rough time for Nacua and the Rams since the season started. The start defensive player Myles Garrett is dealing with a knee injury and will need surgery. They lost 27-7 to the 49ers, a division rival and are now dealing with injuries on the roster.
Nacua had 5 receptions on 9 targets for 74 yards in their first game against the 49ers. No one else had over 30 yards in the game.
If Nacua doesn’t suit up, they will have to rely on their receiver room to get them a win against the Giants. Players like Davante Adams, Tyler Higbee, and others become more important to their week 2 success.
Aaron Donald is continuously ramping up to make his season debut hopefully against the Giants. Donald is coming out of a 2 and a half year retirement.
The Rams will prepare to not have Nacua Monday night.
