WESTWOOD—A suspect wanted for a string of burglaries that transpired in the San Fernando Valley was arrested causing a full closure of the 405 freeway on Tuesday, February 25.

Police were able to take the suspect into custody at about 4:15 p.m. on the northbound lanes near Wilshire Boulevard. All lanes of the San Diego Freeway (405) were shut down during rush hour.

The name and the description of the suspect has not been released. Officials state that the individual is wanted for a string of burglaries that transpired in their Devonshire Division. The Devonshire Division includes the cities of Canoga Park, Chatsworth, Granada Hills, Northridge, West Hills, Winnetka and Porter Ranch.
