MALIBU—Barbie’s dream home has been listed on Airbnb to rent at $60 a night starting on October 23 through October 29 honoring the Mattel Barbie collection’s 60th anniversary. The news was first reported on Thursday, October 17.
Renters are required to reserve a minimum of two nights which includes a 24 to 48 hour cancellation policy.
Guest can check-in from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Checkout times are no later than 2:00 p.m on October 29. Parties, smoking or pets are not allowed on the property. The three-story mansion has free parking, kitchen privileges, Wi-Fi and hot tub access.
The owner of the mansion aims to inspire guests, by welcoming various optional activities, such as fencing by Ibtihaj Muhammad, fancy meals with chef Gina Clarke-Helm and even a makeover with hairstylist Mane Addicts
Barbie debuted in 1959 and has since incorporated a wide range of diverse dolls of all colors, sizes, highlighting a variety of profession personalities such as doctors, lawyers, veterinarians, astronauts, pilots, coders, and other careers that may reflect less female dominance.
