PACIFIC PALISADES—A multi-vehicle crash occurred on Wednesday, September 18, on the 17300 block of Pacific Coast Highway after 10 p.m. The crash occurred near Will Rogers Park and the Bay Club by Sunset Boulevard. Video shows one of the vehicles balancing on rocks above the water.
Firefighters and police officers remained at the scene to direct traffic. CBS Los Angeles reported, the crash was the result of a woman in her 20s, who stuck a parked car before striking another vehicle that was parked. The second vehicle was occupied by an individual who was transported to a local hospital for injuries sustained during the incident.
The woman responsible for the multi-vehicle crash was taken to a local hospital to be treated for minor injuries sustained. She was later taken into custody by authorities at the Van Nuys jail for driving under the influence. The name of the suspect has not yet been disclosed to the public.
