UNITED STATES—Congressman Matt Gaetz (R-FL) called House Intelligence Chairman, Adam Schiff (D-CA) a hypocrite.
Congressman Gaetz publicly exposed footage of a 2-year-old prank phone call that Chairman Schiff took part in at the expense of President Donald Trump.
Prior to the call and immediately following the call, Gaetz relays that the House Intelligence Committee contacted security and appropriate law enforcement regarding the conversation.
Two Russians were patched through in a phone call to Schiff with information or “dirt” on President Trump saying there was a purported, female escort, nude pictures of the POTUS, and that there were passwords along with what sounded like a bribe.
Gaetz called Schiff out after he falsely reported a classified conversation between President Trump with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Schiff was caught in his lie, as President Trump ad already provided the transcripts of the actual phone call.
When Schiff was called out for false reports on the President’s conversation, he nonchalantly said it was “in the parody” saying that was what the President meant. Schiff has received negative feedback for his actions.
On Thursday, September 27, Congressman Andy Biggs (R-AZ) introduced a motion to Condemn Censure Schiff.
