LOS ANGELES-The Greater Los Angeles Agency on Deafness (GLAD) will be holding a workshop on Friday, June 6 discussing the changes in Medicare and Medi-Cal.

 

The information provided at the event will be from the Center for Health Care Rights (CHCR) and will be presented in ASL. The event will discuss the changes in health care for those with Medicare and Medical, when the changes will occur and enrollment options.

 

According to the flyer released by GLAD, the “CHCR is funded by the Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program grant provided by the Los Angeles City and County Area Agencies on Aging through the Older California Act. CHCR is not part of the Medicare program and does not sell insurance.”
