LOS ANGELES—The Los Angeles Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating, John Scott Carver, a mentally disordered violent sex offender that absconded from his state mandated program in Los Angeles.
The LAPD reported on October 10, around 7:30 p.m., Carver was last seen near Olympic Boulevard and Masselin Avenue, where he cut off his monitoring device and fled towards San Vicente Boulevard and Sierra Bonita Avenue, possibly on foot.
He is described as a 71-year-old, White male, with brown/ grey hair and green eyes. He stands 5 feet and 11 inches tall and weighs about 200 pounds.
John Carver should be considered armed and dangerous, anyone who spots him is asked to call 911 or contact your local law enforcement agency. He is known to use the names of: Scott Carver and Michael Meadows.
