MALIBU—New York Knicks starting center Karl Anthony Towns and model and media personality Jordyn Woods tied the knot in an outdoor ceremony overlooking the ocean in Malibu on August 15. The wedding was a black-tie affair, with guests in tuxedos and floor-length gowns. Woods wore a gown with a long train and a statement veil, while Towns wore a classic black suit with a white button-down shirt and a black bow tie.
During an appearance on “The Howard Stern Show,” Towns opened up about his fiancée, saying, “That woman is special, man, there’s a reason why I’m marrying her.” He also described the moment he proposed to her on Christmas Eve, saying it “was the first time that she’s ever seen me nervous.”
Among the guests were his Knicks teammates Jalen Brunson, OG Anunoby and Josh Hart, along with Kylie Jenner, Timothée Chalamet, Ben Stiller, Justin and Hailey Bieber, Michael B. Jordan, Teyana Taylor and Gayle King. Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith, Yung Gravy, Leah Kateb and Justine Skye also attended the celebration.
The couple have been dating since 2020 after first getting to know each other as friends. Towns has said Woods was always there for him, especially after his mother, Jacqueline, tragically passed away in April 2020 due to complications from COVID 19. With the wedding ceremony complete, the couple will begin a new chapter of life shortly before Towns and the Knicks enter the 2026-2027 NBA season as the reigning champions.
