WEST HOLLYWOOD—On Sunday, January 25, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported that they battled a structure fire in the Beverly Grove region.
The fire was reported at 1:10 p.m. at 6602 W. Drexel Avenue. The fire involved a one-story dwelling with heavy fire showing from the front upon fire department arrival — firefighters proceeded in the offensive mode, coordinating roof and interior operations, to achieve knockdown in 30 minutes.
There were no reported injuries, and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Companies remain on scene for overhaul.
